• I work with individuals and couples to discover their strengths, overcome personal obstacles, improve communication and set goals to build confidence and self-esteem.

Using clinically tested, evidenced-based interventions rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I have worked in private private practice since 2015 where I have served the greater Tacoma community.

In addition to clinical work I am a regular guest speaker at festivals and conferences where I incorporate mental health concepts into presentations for performers.  As an active performer myself I consider music a strength of mine and believe that we all have unique strengths that can be utilized to improve our overall health.

I am a licensed mental health counselor associate in Washington.  I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC where a primary focus of mine was in multi-cultural counseling.

I put a strong emphasis on clients "perfecting" their own self-care and can provide a lot of insight into developing this with tangible concepts and a creative approach.

I truly believe in the power of people.  I continue to feel energized in my work and strive to create meaningful relationships with all my clients.

I am under the supervision of Patty Swanson and I completed a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC.
