I work with couples and individuals to discover their strengths, overcome personal obstacles, improve communication, and set goals to build confidence and self-esteem.

I have always had a passion for people. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. I have completed Level 1 & 2 Trainings in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use it in my work.

In addition to clinical work I am a regular guest speaker at festivals and conferences where I incorporate mental health concepts into presentations for performers.  As an active performer myself I consider music a strength of mine and believe that we all have unique strengths that can be utilized to improve our overall health.

I am a licensed mental health counselor in Washington.  I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC where a primary focus of mine was in multi-cultural counseling.

I put a strong emphasis on clients "perfecting" their own self-care and can provide a lot of insight into developing this with tangible concepts and a creative approach.

I truly believe in the power of people.  I continue to feel energized in my work and strive to create meaningful relationships with all my clients.
