Are you ready to make changes in your life or in your relationship?
It takes courage to ask for help, but the rewards of doing so can lead to a lifetime of fulfillment. I understand and have experienced the emotional challenges life has to offer. In working together, we will cultivate growth by understanding the obstacles that you face and develop solutions that can help you gain control of your life and achieve your goals. Ultimately, therapy can lead you to greater self-awareness, self-esteem, and most importantly, a more fulfilling life.
I am passionate about empowering couples and individuals in energizing the human spirit. My specialties include, but are not limited to: Couples, Communication, Anxiety, Depression, Mood disorders, Anger management, Substance Abuse, Self-Esteem Issues, Life Transitions, and Trauma. I have completed Gottman levels 1 & 2 for couples and use them in my work.
My cognitive, solution-focused style is customized to each client’s needs. Through collaborative efforts we find personalized solutions. This style is successful with a variety of individuals, starting at age 10 through adults of all sizes, shapes, and colors. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you.
I completed my clinical training at Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC.  In addition to a comprehensive clinical program I did clinical internships at The Kolmac Clinic, an intensive outpatient addictions program, and the Family Crisis Center for domestic violence survivors and perpetrators.  I have an extensive musical background which I still incorporate into my life, and I enjoy Washington for its beauty and outdoor activities.
